• Compaction ability of different types of aggregates and soil

• Roller weight adjustments

• Transportation (loading, unloading and securing)

• Standard signals

• Safety aspects of static roller operations

o Operational safety

o Working in elevated areas

o Conditions and suitability of the securing devices and

ramp

Practical(P):

• Fill the drum & ballast tank with water

• Perform compaction for base preparation with static roller

• Compact the material using static roller

• Clean and park the machine

• Load the unit to the plant mover

• Unload the unit from the plant mover
